| Artist Biography: Originating in the Pacific Northwest, I spent many years living on the islands and exploring the archipelago along the coast. With a love of the ocean, island life, and warm sunny climates, in 2001 I realized a dream and made Hawaii my home. Exploring my natural inclination for artistic expression, I began creating paintings inspired by the beauty of the tropics: tropical flowers & plants, surf & seascapes, tropical fish & animals. My favorite medium is watercolor due to its versatility, but I also enjoy creating images with acrylic paints, and occasionally make my photography available for sale. Through my paintings I hope to employ my passion for artistic creation to express the natural beauty inherent in everything around us. It is my sincere wish that the beauty of the resulting images may enrich you.
